Robot Residency day 3- yet more robots!

Yup! There's more! It was a pretty hot day today, so actually we probably had less roboteers than the other days, but I think we can happily be sure that in the last 3 days we have made over 500 ROBOTS! WOOO HOOO! I feel like I am a robot ambassador!

Also excitingly we (me & Cardboard Robot) are on page 3 (check us out!) of the Evening Post, with a glorious photo of me gurning away!

See article below as well as a few more Robots!

At Bristol is continuing 'Make your own Robot' for another 4 days, so if you feel inspired, get down there! I sadly won't be there, so if you make any please do email me a photo!

Robot Residency day 2

Another inspiring day! I had lots of enthusiastic listeners for my 2 story sessions today, and many many Roboteers making there very own creations....Even more than yesterday, maybe 250!
Everyone's excitement has been infectious. I was also amazed by some very committed Robot fans - one family came today to join in the fun, after the newest member was born just 4 days ago! Thank you. Check out their Robot, it's the one in the bottom right hand corner.

Robots from NEW YORK!

Currently my best friend is living in New York, recently she introduced some friends to Monkey & Robot - check out the results...

WHOA!
This is Venetia, aged 4 with her very gorgeous Robot- Look she is even wearing a Robotic skirt!

This is Mariella, aged 7 with her cardboard Robot. What a hansom fello! Look at his tash! Apparently he is french! So pleased that Monkey & Robot are truly international!

These Robots are very lucky, not only to have such talented creators but amazingly, I have been told, they even have there own beds! They sleep next to Venetia & Mariella on cushions with little blankets! Robot bliss!

Cardboard Robot MASK!

So it seems that masks are all the rage!
Dan made a monkey mask, and now, thanks to Daisy there is now a TOTALLY GLORIOUS  ROBOT MASK too!

Look at it! Blummin Ace!

Julia, Daisy's mum says " Daisy saw Dan's monkey mask and thought we should make a robot mask out of our Muller Light Yoghurt 6 pack packaging. We added corrugated cardboard for his neck. And pipe cleaner twirled around a pencil as the  'fing that is the wobot's bwain'. He is 'finking about stars' apparently (star stickers on his forehead, see)."

Thank you Daisy!

Julia is a bit of a wonder and has an amazing blog with creative delights to follow and be inspired by, have a look here ADVENTURES AT HOME

Remember
WE STILL NEED YOUR MONKEY & ROBOT STUFF!

A MASK!....WOW!
Thanks to Dan (aged 4) and his mum Alice for these incredible photos! Apparently Dan insisted on the topless photo! If you've read the book, I'd like to think, that maybe Dan took inspiration from 'Super Monkey'!
